This year, 145 companies from across the FTSE250 took part in the Index in which companies are rated against a number of criteria including their corporate responsibility strategy and performance.
Christopher Hyman, Chief Executive of Serco Group plc, said: "Achieving a Gold Rating from BiTC for the sixth year running is recognition of the hard work and commitment of all our people. Operating in a safe, socially responsible, consistent and honest manner is a central principle of our business and is fundamental to the high quality and efficient services that we deliver across the world.
