At the Asian Leadership Awards in 2011, Intelenet was named 'Dream Company to Work For' across all sectors and companies
In May 2011, Serco acquired Business Process Outsourcing company Intelenet, employing 32,000 staff in India and across the globe. Intelenet has been recognised by The Asian Leadership Awards, hosted by The Asian Confederation of Businesses, which celebrates high achievers and future business leaders from Asia
At the Asian Leadership Awards in 2011, Intelenet celebrated great success. Named 'Dream Company to Work For' across all sectors and companies, Intelenet was lauded for its HR policies and corporate responsibility work.
At the same event, Radhika Balasubramanian, Chief Operating Officer, India Domestic BPO Operations, pictured right, won the Woman at Work Leadership Award, in the Head of Operations category. There were 483 participants.
Radhika, who has been with Intelenet for seven years, is responsible for setting up new sites and is also the head of facilities and infrastructure for India and the Philippines. Her vision for Intelenet's workforce, her flair, acumen and professionalism, and demonstration of excellent leadership and management skills were presented as a case study to the judges.
"I am happy to be part of this great organisation and to be an inspiration to all the youngsters who are our leaders of the future," Rakhika said.
