Serco awarded $44m U.S. Navy contract to provide logistics planning support

Serco Group plc (Serco) announced today that the Company has been awarded a new contract to support the Naval Operational Logistics Support Center (NOLSC) with program management and technical services. The contract has a one-year base period and four one-year option periods, with a total value of $44m for Serco, if all option years are exercised.
Under this contract, Serco will support NOLSC with network systems support, systems integration, facilities planning, application/systems analysis and programming, and hardware assessment. Serco's services will help enhance logistics related capabilities across all Warfare Enterprises and will synchronize the Naval Supply Systems Command's planning and execution to support Naval and Joint Warfighters.
